Global fashion Awards 2012

Well, what a night! At the beginning of the week I was given the honour of being invited along to the 2012 Global fashion Awards to rub shoulders with some biggest names in the industry, most of whom probably even spend more time then myself getting ready. Serious.

The awards took place at The Savoy hotel in London. The event honours fashion’s most innovative individuals and businesses from around the globe. Interestingly it was the Brits who scooped the top gongs with one of the nights biggest winners being Victoria Beckham, who won the hotly-contested Womenswear Designer of the Year award, fighting off competition from fashion-heavyweights Alexander Wang, Christopher Kane and Jonathon Saunders. Although she didn’t attend the ceremony, she was quick to tweet her delight at the news though, writing:

The guest list also included the likes of the beautiful Pixie lott and Kate Deeley. I myself made it on to the red carpet just prior to accepting my best dressed male/best hair gong

It was pretty hot in the suit, hence the redness!
