First post for a while, but we’re back people! Even doing a little ‘Entourage’ reunion soon, which I’m very much looking forward to!

Anyways, it’s always nice to see someone doing something new in this industry, so I felt compelled to share this…

Just this week, Domino’s Pizza put together a team of gamers who will play ‘Call of Duty: Ghosts’ online against members of the public, as part of its #GameFuel campaign.

To coincide with the release of  ‘Call of Duty: Ghosts’, which came out this week, a squad of players will represent the pizza delivery company online by playing against gamers and pizza fans.

Domino’s have promoted the game through their social channels and asked ‘Call of Duty’ players to add DominosPizzaUK on their PS3/Xbox networks. All gamers who play well against the Domino’s team will get money-off voucher codes.

The integrated agency Iris (who also regularly works with adidas) have developed the campaign for Domino’s, working with Nick Dutch, Domino’s head of digital.

Dutch said: “We’re constantly seeking new ways of engaging with our audiences and understanding what makes them tick. Playing the games they want to play is an important part of that process, and something that hasn’t been done – so we’re excited to see how far Team Domino’s can go.”

Pretty cool, huh? I wasn’t planning on owning the latest COD until my PS4 arrives but then, I’ve been known to go to great lengths for pizza…
